Kipfit Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Kipfit iPhone app, Apple Watch app, and the kipfitapp.co.ke website.
Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using Kipfit, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Kipfit.
Who provides Kipfit
Kipfit is provided by Bridgetree Technologies. References to "Kipfit," "we," "our," and "us" mean Bridgetree Technologies and the Kipfit services.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Kipfit. If you use Kipfit on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
You may use some features in guest mode. Groups, invites, and leaderboards require an account authenticated through Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your device and Apple account secure.
License and permitted use
Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Kipfit for your personal, non-commercial fitness tracking and participation in supported social features.
You may not misuse Kipfit, interfere with the service, attempt to gain unauthorized access, reverse engineer the service except where law permits it, or use Kipfit in a way that harms other users.
Health and safety disclaimer
Kipfit is a fitness and wellness tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
You are responsible for your exercise choices, physical condition, route selection, and personal safety while using workout and location-based features.
Apple Health, device permissions, and third-party services
Kipfit depends on Apple platform services, including Apple Health, Sign in with Apple, and the App Store. Your use of those services is also subject to Apple's terms, rules, and privacy practices.
You control whether to grant permissions such as Health, notifications, and location. If you deny or revoke permissions, parts of Kipfit may not work correctly.
Social features and community rules
If you use groups, invites, or leaderboards, you agree to use them respectfully and lawfully. Do not impersonate others, harass users, upload harmful content, abuse invite systems, or attempt to manipulate rankings.
We may remove content, disable invites, suspend social access, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or put users or the service at risk.
Changes, availability, and termination
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue some or all parts of Kipfit at any time. We may also update these terms by posting a revised version on this page.
You may stop using Kipfit at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create security risks, or misuse the service.
Intellectual property
Kipfit, including its software, design, branding, and related content, is owned by Bridgetree Technologies or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Kipfit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy, or that Kipfit will always meet your expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bridgetree Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, profits, or business interruption arising from your use of Kipfit.
